We all know the current trends and how a smartphone plays a vital role. After all the post we share on Instagram, Facebook and upload not worthy WhatsApp statuses, it is quite obvious for any passerby to think of how important or tech-savvy is this person. This story of about Harish (Name Changed) is going immensely viral on social media.
Harish who is an engineer is currently a job seeker, and like any Jobseeker, with his updated profile on JOB Portal eagerly waits for an interview call. And, like always he does get a call from a consultancy or company when you least expect it. Like, In an “Elevator” or while on a “Metro Ride”. And obvious due to network outage we tend to lose the call. As usual, happy moments are short-lived. Like a great man once said,
“opportunity once spurned may not come again”.
This kept happening to harish over and over again but one day while on “metro ride in Bengaluru”, The already frustrated young man Suddenly, noticed a blissfully beautiful girl in all her delicate gestures talking on the phone like nothing has ever happened.
Harish, when told by a co-passenger that entire underground section still to get mobile and data connectivity, was stunned and awestruck. but, the beautiful girl still had no issues with dropped signal or anything.
Harish has even taken an appeal in court against telecom providers about this biased behavior. Harish who also is a Narcos fan, contacted Cali Cartel and got himself a Satellite Phone (the one used by Pablo Escobar). To his surprise, even that didn’t fair well in sustaining a call “in a Metro” or “Elevator”. but, the imaginary beautiful girl always had network everywhere.
When asked Harish how has this impact on his life. He shared an incident which made us draw the line and not to dig any deeper.
“once, my girlfriend called and proposed ‘I love you Harish, DO you ?”, before I could say “Yes” the network dropped and I … (Sarcasm Crying).
Harish is now bringing awareness among other similar victims of network impacted users. This dark side of the story has parts, some stay real, while rest is all but a fictional world.
