‘Redrop’ An App to assist blood donors by ICYM Udupi Launched

The official launch of the Redrop Mobile App was done on 18th December 2018, 4.30 PM at Sheshashayana Hall, Kediyoor, Udupi.

Redrop is an app by ICYM – Diocese of Udupi, This app has one task – Enable the victim to receive blood from the generous donor without delay and most importantly, without the middlemen.

The ICYM – Diocese of Udupi team dint let any stone upturned in marketing the app from the day of its first launch in November.The app is designed and developed by TFN Enterprise (OPC) Pvt Ltd.

“REDROP AD-SHOOT” – An advertisement making competition was held to promote the app. The best video was displayed during the Redrop – Launch ceremony and is the official advert video for the app, with credits being provided to the makers.

Idea Behind This App

Using Redrop, you can Request for Blood and find blood donors in your area quickly by making a search. Call or SMS the donors directly from the app (Call/SMS charges may apply). If you didn’t find any donors in your area you can just post your query so that when a donor is available and ready to donate, they might contact you. Similarly, if you are willing to donate blood, you can click on Donate Blood to find people who are in need of blood.

Redrop team consists Dion D’Souza, Oniel Andrade, Don D’Souza, Viynl D’Souza, Rayan Fernandes, Rayan Christ D’Souza, Jeevan Pereira, Roshan Sequira, and Derick Mascarenhas.
