July 9th made every person from tulunadu nostalgic and brought a smile on people’s faces. The cover of tulu song launched by Rhapsody “Madime Dayeg Ayena” song which was originally composed by Wilfy Rebimbus went viral in a span of less than 12 hours.
Facebook views for the latest cover surpassed more than 150K views hours after the video was published. The video uploaded on youtube was taken down based on a copyright infringement claim.
Rhapsody does say,
we have mentioned from the very beginning(Video titles, Captions and subtitles) that this is a TRIBUTE to Wilfy Remimbus and never have we said that it was our original!
Rhapsody team posted their wistful on their facebook page today saying
We are very saddened to inform that the song ‘Madime Dayeg ayena’ which was a tribute to the great late Wilfy Remimbus has now been removed by YouTube due to a copyright claim after the video went viral.
The video might have been taken down by YouTube but, it has been shared on WhatsApp repeatedly and loved by millions of people across mangaluru and worldwide.
Rhapsody has shared and link for the video so, not let the pride of our tulunadu be short-lived.
